For more than sixty years, Calvary Community has gathered in Johnson City to worship Jesus, love our neighbors, and pass faith to the next generation. The chapters keep coming.

Calvary Community is a congregation of The Wesleyan Church, a global movement of churches rooted in the historic Christian faith with a distinct Wesleyan accent: that the grace of God can not only forgive us, but transform us into the likeness of Christ.
We worship in Johnson City, but our family lives, works, learns, and serves across the Greater Binghamton region. We are a multigenerational church — families with babies, college students, mid-career professionals, and our wisest seniors all worship side by side. That is by design.

A Wesleyan church in the Southern Tier.
The Wesleyan Church is a holiness denomination born out of the 19th-century revival movement — a tradition that prizes heart religion, biblical authority, social compassion, and an inviting view of Christian growth. Calvary has been a Wesleyan witness in Johnson City since the early 1960s.
