What a wonderful time we had at Calvary Community Church's Annual Picnic at Highland Park in Endwell, NY! Following our memorable Baptism Sunday service where we celebrated members of our church family who publicly declared their decision to follow Christ, the picnic was the perfect continuation of a joyful and meaningful day. With beautiful weather and a fantastic turnout, members gathered at the park to relax, enjoy delicious food, and spend quality time together.
Gary McMyne opened the picnic by leading us in song, followed by a prayer from Pastor Theo before everyone eagerly made their way to the food. Pete Putano and Bill Pease kept the grills going while attendees enjoyed a wonderful variety of dishes, including salads, pizza, fruit, and plenty of other picnic favorites. Linda Conroy delighted attendees with face painting, while James and Peggy Ganoung brought horses for everyone to enjoy. Members enthusiastically encouraged Pastor Theo to take a ride, and although he was reluctant at first, he eventually gave in and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Meanwhile, the children had a wonderful time exploring the park's slides, swings, and playground equipment.
Special recognition goes to Shanon Putano and Marcia Lorraine for coordinating such a lovely and enjoyable picnic. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who assisted with setup, food preparation, activities, and cleanup. Most importantly, thank you to every member, family, and friend who attended. Your presence, laughter, and spirit of fellowship made this year's picnic a truly memorable celebration of faith, family, and community.
